I have engaged for years in numerous interventions to calm my chronic pain, mostly impacting my shoulder, neck and jaw. Thousands of dollars, hours and hopeful moments have resulted in fear invoking diagnoses, appliances, pain meds and frustration. I came to Serenity Lord at Prescott Massage Therapy after an expensive and unuseful interaction with a dentist, disheartened and still in pain. After only two sessions of Serenity working with my jaw, neck and shoulder I felt relief; significantly less pain and tension, improved mobility. I (attempted to) follow Serenity’s suggestions - for consistent sessions, stretching and releasing exercises - and I began to feel such improvement! After only a few months I can now open my jaw without the previous ‘hitch’ I experienced. My pain has dissipated, some days even going mostly unnoticed. Eating is no longer as painful. I sleep more restfully.
